M&J · House Renovation

Complete energetic renovation for a contemporary family home while preserving the character of Brussels' heritage.

As an old townhouse, the energy balance was very poor and the house had many elements to be enhanced: between enhancement and improvement. Bringing in light and reflecting the clients' lifestyle are the challenges of this project, while also improving the thermal comfort and usability of the house.

Replacing the roof, creating a terrace, converting attic space, replacing the heating system, enhancing tiles and woodwork… Every aspect is important and must be addressed within the overall vision of this energetic renovation. Bringing color, clarity, and new life to existing features: radiators, moldings, stained glass windows, adapting them to the needs of a contemporary townhouse and family.

The renovation and enhancement of the woodwork and stained glass windows are the highlights of this charming house.
