Brulocalis
An ambitious RenoClick office renovation project to improve energy efficiency and accessibility
Brulocalis is a non-profit organization serving the local authorities of the Brussels-Capital Region, and created and managed by them. Its offices occupy a magnificent historic site in the heart of the city with high visibility and architectural quality. The renovations will reflect the commitment of the local public service to energy transition whilst preserving the building’s historic character. NWOW (New Ways of Working) principles have been incorporated to create a flexible work environment that encourages employee wellbeing.
The building’s heritage façade and window frames will be restored, including glazing replacements to increase thermal insulation. The reception area and communal spaces have been redesigned, and a new elevator will be installed. Thorough consideration was given to the acoustics and adaptability of the spaces, and all designs meet PMR accessibility standards. Lighting, ventilation, and structural modifications create a more comfortable environment for the building’s users and improve energy efficiency.
